Dear Friends & Devotee,

To commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s birthday on January 12th, Sri Ramakrishna Vijayam (the Tamil monthly magazine of SriRamakrishna Math) and the Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence have been celebrating by organizing “National Youth Day Competitions” for several years.

In view of National Youth Day 2026, competitions were conducted by Sri Ramakrishna Vijayam on various themes, including: AI videos on the life history of Swami Vivekananda, comic strips (pictorial stories), handicrafts based on stories told by Swamiji, paintings, and Bhajans dedicated to Swamiji. Students from various schools and colleges across Tamil Nadu participated with great enthusiasm.

Furthermore, approximately 1,000 students from 17 schools in Chennai participated in the Elocution, Drawing, and Quiz programmes conducted by the Sri Ramakrishna Math Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence.

The impact of Swami Vivekananda and the sense of responsibility he envisioned were clearly reflected in the students who participated in these competitions. It is certain that this will bring great benefit to society.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners of these competitions at the National Youth Day function to be held on Friday, January 9 at Sri
Ramakrishna Math, Chennai. We cordially invite everyone to participate in this program and receive the blessings of Swami Vivekananda.
