The program began with flower offering to the Holy Trio and lamp lighting by dignitaries, faculties and students. The faculties and students were then given a guided tour to the Vivekanandar Illam (Where Swami Vivekananda stayed for 9 Days) -museum to Experience Swami Vivekananda followed by a group photo.

The 162nd Catch Them Young unfolded at Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) on Saturday, 27th September 2025, bringing together a spirited team of 12 students and 1 faculty member from “Yuva Shakthi”, the volunteer group of Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women, T. Nagar.
The morning session opened with a prayerful atmosphere that set the tone for a day of inspiration. Smt. Varsha addressed the gathering on Swami Vivekananda’s Vision for Youth. With her blend of storytelling and interactive questions, she spoke about how qualities like discipline, confidence, and values can shape a strong character.
Next, Br. Vanishachaitanya, Director of VCC, carried the students into a deeper reflection on the theme “Service to Humanity is Service to God”. Through relatable examples, he explained how the Ramakrishna Mission stands as a living model of service. He urged the youth to dream big but also to root their goals in service and values. A short guided meditation gave them a taste of inner calm.
The group then explored the Experience Vivekananda Museum, where history came alive through the 3D Parliament of Religions show, the Katha Upanishad presentation, the Selfie with Vivekananda zone, and the art gallery. A quiet visit to Swamiji’s room and moments of meditation there left a deep impression on them.
The program concluded with the distribution of books, certificates, and refreshments. Finally, a cheerful group photo in front of Swami Vivekananda’s statue captured the essence of the day: learning, reflection, and the joy of shared purpose.

Date: 25.09.2025 (161st Batch)

The “Catch Them Young” – 161st Batch was organized at Ramakrishnananda Hall, Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC), on Thursday, 25th September 2025. The program saw the participation of 80 students and 4 faculty members from the Departments of Computer Science, Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology.
The day commenced with prayer. This was followed by an inspiring address by Smt. Varsha on Swami Vivekananda’s Vision for Youth. She emphasized the vital role of discipline, self-confidence, and value-based living in building strong character. Drawing upon anecdotes from Swamiji’s life, she skillfully related his message to modern youth, making the session lively and highly interactive.
Later, the students proceeded to the Experience Vivekananda Museum, where they witnessed various attractions such as the 3D presentation on the Parliament of Religions, the Katha Upanishad show, the Selfie with Vivekananda zone, the art gallery, and Swamiji’s room. The quiet moments of meditation in the room where Swamiji once stayed left a profound impact on many participants.
The program concluded with the distribution of books, participation certificates, and refreshments. A group photograph in front of Swami Vivekananda’s statue brought the event to a meaningful close, symbolizing a day filled with inspiration, reflection, and learning.

CATCH THEM YOUNG – 160th Batch was held at Ramakrishnananda Hall, Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) on Wednesday, 24th September 2025. A total of 98 students and 4 faculty members from the Department of Computer Science Business Systems and Bio Technology, Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, participated in the program.
The program began with prayers, followed by an session by Smt. Varsha, who spoke on Swami Vivekananda’s Vision for Youth. She emphasized the role of discipline, self-confidence, and value-based living in shaping character and explained how Swamiji’s ideals can be applied in everyday life. Her interactive style—blending stories with a question–answer session—kept the students engaged and inspired.
As part of the schedule, the students visited the Experience Vivekananda Museum, where they explored Swamiji’s life through engaging exhibits such as the 3D show on the Parliament of Religions, the Katha Upanishad show, the Selfie with Vivekananda zone, and the art gallery. They also had the opportunity to visit Swamiji’s room and spend a few moments in meditation, which added a deeply reflective dimension to their visit.

CATCH THEM YOUNG – 159th Batch was conducted at Ramakrishnananda Hall, Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC), on Friday, 19th September 2025. A total of 60 students and 2 faculty members from the Department of Tourism, AM Jain College, actively participated in the program.
The session commenced with prayers, setting a serene atmosphere. This was followed by an inspiring talk by Smt.Nithya Rajsundaran on “Swami Vivekananda’s Vision for Youth.” She highlighted the importance of discipline, self-confidence, and value-based living in building strong character, while also explaining how Swamiji’s message remains relevant in everyday life. Her engaging approach—interweaving anecdotes, stories, and a lively question–answer session—kept the students deeply involved and motivated.
The students later visited the Experience Vivekananda Museum, gaining valuable insights into Swamiji’s life and teachings through interactive exhibits. The program concluded with the distribution of participation certificates, books, refreshments, and a group photograph in front of Swami Vivekananda’s statue—capturing the spirit of a truly enriching and memorable day.

CATCH THEM YOUNG – 158th Batch was held at Ramakrishnananda Hall, Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) on Wednesday, 18th September 2025. A total of 50 students and 2 faculty members from the Department of Computer Communication, Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, participated in the program.
The program began with prayers, followed by an session by Smt. Dr. Krishnaveni Hariram, who spoke on Swami Vivekananda’s Vision for Youth. She emphasized the role of discipline, self-confidence, and value-based living in shaping character and explained how Swamiji’s ideals can be applied in everyday life. Her interactive style—blending stories with a question–answer session—kept the students engaged and inspired.
The second session was conducted by Shri Biju Dev Ji on Value Education and Yoga. He guided the students through simple meditation practices and daily āsanas, encouraging them to integrate yoga into their routine for physical and mental well-being.
As part of the program, the students visited the Experience Vivekananda Museum, where they explored Swamiji’s inspiring life and teachings. CATCH THEM YOUNG, 156th batch was conducted in the Ramakrishnananda Hall at Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) campus on Friday, 11th July, 2025. The participants included 38 students and 2 faculties from the B.A History and M.A History Department of Ethiraj College for Women, Egmore.
The program began with prayers to the Holy trio by Smt.Gangha. The program included two sessions presented by Smt. Varsha Sundararajan on “Learning about thinking” and Shri.Biju Dev Ji on “Value Education and Yoga”. The concluding remarks were presented by Br. Vanishachaitanya, who recapitulated the learnings, and thanked the institution & Young minds present, and followed by the distribution of Certificates.
Tea and Biscuits were distributed. Finally a group photo was taken in front of the Statue of Swami Vivekananda.

The workshop was conducted by Smt. Dr.Krishnaveni Hariram.
The participants included 57 students and 2 faculties from Hindu Senior Secondary School, Triplicane.
The program began with giving self - introduction of the students.
The theme of the program was “How to Overcome Exam Fear and Stress”.
Certificates were distributed by Br. Vanishachaitanya Maharaj. As part of the program students visited the museum-Experience Vivekananda.
Tea and Biscuits were distributed.
Finally a group photo was taken in front of the Statue of Swami Vivekananda.

The program began with giving self-introduction of the students.

Certificates were distributed by Br. Vanishachaitanya Maharaj. As part of the program students visited the museum-Experience Vivekananda.

Catch Them Young, 158th batch was conducted in the Ramakrishnananda Hall at Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) campus on Tuesday, 18th February 2025. The participants included 4 faculty and 68 students of B.Com Honours from Sri Kanyaka Parameshwari College, Chennai. 
"We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one’s own feet.” Swami Vivekananda wanted to infuse this idea in to the young minds. To fulfil his wishes Vivekananda Cultural Centre team has designed a Unique personality Development program for School and College Students.
The program included two sessions presented by Smt.Krishnaveni Hariram . Certificates were distributed at the end of the session.

Catch Them Young, 152 nd batch was conducted in the Ramakrishnananda Hall at Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) campus on Wednesday, 8 th January 2025. The participants included 2 faculty and 47 students of II Year BBA & BCA Dept. from Shree Chandraprabu Jain College, Minjur, Chennai.
The program included two sessions presented by Smt. Nitya and Sri. Biju Dev.
