For 125 students from Sri RKM Sarada Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, T-Nagar, Chennai, a two-day interactive workshop on Life Skills/Value Education/Personality Enhancement was held. Students from the 12th-11th grades attended on Tue-Nov 22nd followed by students from the 10th -9th grades on Thu-24th Nov respectively. They were accompanied by eleven faculties on both days. Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC), Vivekanandar Illam Campus (Kamarajar Salai), Triplicane-Chennai hosted the interactive workshop.

Smt. Varsha ji, a Ramakrishna Math volunteer and devotee, led an interactive and fun-filled transformational session in Tamil/English (Bilingual) on both days, causing students to ponder deeply on issues leading to success in life discipline, respect for others, giving respect to persons of different faiths, and giving value to each and every person, regardless of external dress or any physical disabilities, etc.

The following session was led by Dr.Krishnaveni Hariram, who transported all participants back to the times of Thiruvalluvar, our ancient Tamilnadu sage, and blended Swami Vivekananda's message in a modern context-easily understandable by young minds!

All participants were then taken on a guided tour of the "Experience Vivekananda" Museum, where they saw the "Ancient Indian Heritage Gallery," the "History of Ice House and Swami Vivekananda Galleries–Childhood and Youth," the "3-D Show Depicting the Famous Chicago Speech," and more. The tour culminated in a "Silent Meditation" for one minute in the room where Swami Vivekananda had stayed for nine days.
