On October 2nd, Sri Ramakrishna Math Chennai volunteers along with former LAP (earlier afflicted with leprosy) personnel visited Govt. Rehabilitation Home at Paranaur for 185 Leprosy Afflicted Persons.The former LAP personnel cleaned this centre as Swatch Bharath tribute to birthday celebrations of Mahatma Gandhiji. Their toilets & bathrooms were cleaned and their Ulcer wounds were treated as well.The surrounding areas containing weeds were removed.
சென்னை, ஸ்ரீராமகிருஷ்ண மடத்தின் மூலமாகப் பயனடைந்த 50 தொழுநோய் மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் செங்கல்பட்டு அருகில் பரனூரில் உள்ள அரசு மறுவாழ்வு இல்லத்திற்குச் (தொழுநோய் மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள்) சென்று அக்டோபர் 2 அன்று இல்லத்தைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்தியும் தொழுநோய் மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளின் காயங்களுக்குச் சிகிச்சை அளித்தும் காந்தி ஜெயந்தியைக் கொண்டாடினர்.
திருமதி. ஜெயந்தி மற்றும் திரு. சிவா அவர்களின் தலைமையில் 15 செவிலியர்களும் இச்சேவையில் பங்கேற்றனர்.
