The Inaugural Session of the Summer Camp-2025 was held in Ramakrishnananda Hall of Vivekananda Cultural Center (VCC), Chennai. The Inaugural session started with Flower offerings to the Holy Trio, Lamp Lighting followed by shanti mantras and prayer.
Br.Vanishachaitanya Maharaj, Director VCC, welcomed our Chief Guest, the Monks, parents and children and also gave a brief introduction of Summer Camp 2025.
The chief guest for the function was Shri.Manu Roy, the commanding officer at INS Adyar. The chief guest advised the students to go back to our rich Indian culture and tradition, preserve the natural resources and also guided them a nationalistic way of serving the nation as well as the parents. He said, all professions are good but, motivated the students to join the NDA. He also shared some of his memorable experiences as a Naval Officer and Trainer. There was an interactive session with the students.
In his short speech Swami Raghunayakananda Ji Maharaj, Manager, Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore, Chennai, encouraged and asked the students to attend the program without missing single class by which the students will get more benefit just after the completion as he had the previous experience when he was the former incharge of this institution.
In his Benedictory address Revered Swami Satyajnanananda Ji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore, Chennai. With a story he depicted how values help in the human beings’ life. How to become from Zero to Hero was an inspirational and motivating speech in the inaugural session.
Finally the program ended with a group photo session with the chief guest.
Breakfast and buttermilk were served to the students, and followed by other sessions.
