On 23rd May, the orientation session for 9 participants of the Thanjavur Painting weekdays (Tue-Fri) batch commenced with the traditional lighting of lamp.
Smt. Krishnaveni-Course Instructor-presented an overview of this 9th Century Traditional Art program, which will run for 40+ sessions and includes sketching, preparing board, clay art, setting of beads, painting and finally framing in a glass enclosure. As this type of traditional art form requires a degree of maturity, admissions are open to any interested student above 18 years!
