Navarathri Golu Making-2024 workshop was successfully conducted at Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) on Sat-28th September 2024, with 59 participants ranging from 8 to 60 years.
The workshop started with prayers at VCC Terrace (2nd Floor). For small children aged around 8 years parents were also allowed to assist them. A few specially abled children also participated. The Instructors assisted each participant with clear step-by-step instructions to help them create the dolls out of raw clay.
During the first half of the workshop clay models of dolls were made. Later Painting of the dolls was taught post lunch. Thereafter another team of Instructors taught them dressing of dolls.

In the end, hand-made Golu Dolls were displayed. Each participant carried their Golu to their homes – joyfully!
