SRI RAMAKRISHNA MATH, MEDICAL AND RURAL SERVICE CENTER, MEYYUR
Introduction:
Chennai Si Ramakrishna Math adopted the Village of Meyyur, 60km away from Chennai. Vembedu and Gurupuram two tribal hamlets hearty have joined together for these Services.
Some of the Service Highlights:
1) Medical Camps:
* In the absence basic Medical facility we need to travel 15 km from Meyyur.
* Free Medical camps are conducted weekly on Fridays and Sundays through math.
* In this general, Pardia, Ortho, Cardio, Pulnio and Physio are conducted time to time, also free medicines and food are provided to the patients.
* In Natural calamities, Our Math act first to provide basic aminities in a tremendous way
2) Role to Educational Development:
* Free education, English training classes and computer classes are conducted daily at the end of these classes Annadana prasad given to 100 children.
* Cultural developmental classes : Such as "SARADHAMMA BALA MANDIR" in this Many Monks of our math have participated and offered blessings.
* There is no transport facility in Somadevan pattu Village. Math has arranged vehicle facility.
* 3 Teachers appointed by Math to overcome shortage of teachers in there schools.
* Through math, 3 Physiotherapist, 4 DMIT, 3 Arts & 1 Engineering students are Studying through scholarships.
3) Sarada Amma Village Mangalam - Women Development Center:
* "Women development is family development". Sri Ramakrishna Math started tailoring classes at In November 2014.
* In this More than 200 rural women's are widows, are Increase their Income by tailoring. 70 Free sweing machines are given.
4) Community Welfare center - BPCL:
* Community welfare center is build on 11th September 2016 with the help of BPCL
* It is Inaugurated by Rev Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, Mr.Varadarajan (former Chairman of BPCL)
* The building is much utilized for children education, Sewing training and conducting medical camps.
* Not only that, for the improvement of village, they constructed 6 toilets & Installed LED lights throughout the village and also digging & cleaning the village ponds for utilization of public.
5) Vivekananda Integrated Rural Development Center - Sarada Amma Gomatha Mandir:
In order to expand Our Service, We promote organic farming. Not Only that we have 84 Cows and calves. It's milk is utilized for Students.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to HPCL group, Mr.Vasanth Chandrasekaran & Mr. Mohana Krishnan fox providing financial Support for these two new buildings which were laid foundation stone by Rev Swamiji on 16-11-2022 and inaugurated today. Expanding our services in his new building will be great help to the poor.
"This Service is done, in a quiet and retained Manner, much more works remain to be done. We hope that Swamiji's work will continue to be successful the help of Many charitable & compassionate people. There is no doubt that Meyyur will become a Model village by the grace of Trio. From a poor & disadvantaged background, own village of Meyyur, blessed by Mother Sarada, has excelled in education and women development & is an example to other villagers.
கிராம மக்களின் வாழ்க்கைத் தரம் உயர வேண்டும் என்ற விவேகானந்தர் குறிக்கோள்படி சென்னை ஸ்ரீராமகிருஷ்ண மடம், சென்னையிலிருந்து 60 கி.மீ. தொலைவிலுள்ள மெய்யூர் என்ற கிராமத்தை தத்தெடுத்துக் கொண்டது.
இதற்கருகிலுள்ள வேம்பேடு, குருபுரம் என்ற இரண்டு, பழங்குடியினகுக்கிராமங்களை சேவைக்கு இணைத்துக் கொண்டது.
சில சேவைகளின் சிறப்பம்சங்கள்:-
(1)அடிப்படை மருத்துவ வசதி மெய்யூரில் இல்லாததுனால் 15 கி.மீ. தொலைவில் செல்ல வேண்டி இருந்தது. இதனால் நமது மடத்தின் மூலமாக வாரந்தோறும் வெள்ளி மற்றும் ஞாயிற்றுக் கிழமைகளில் இலவச முகாம்கள் நடத்தப்படுகின்றன.
(2)இதில் குந்தைகள் நல மருத்துவம், கண்புரை அறுவை சிகிச்சை, கண்கண்ணாடி வழங்குதல், பல், எலும்பு மற்றும் இயன்முறை மருத்துவம் போன்ற சிறப்பு மருத்துவ முகாம்களும் நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன.
(3)வரும் நோயாளிகளுக்கு இலவச மருந்துகளும், உணவும் வழங்கப்படுகின்றன.
(4)மேலும் வெள்ள அபாயம் மற்றும் கொரோனா போன்ற பேரிடர் காலங்களில் மெய்யூர் மற்றும் சுற்றியுள்ள குக்கிராம மக்களுக்கு அடிப்படை நிவாரண பொருட்களும், உணவும் அளிக்கப்பட்டது.
கல்வி வளர்ச்சியில் பங்கு:-
(1) மாணவர்களுக்கு, இலவச கல்வி பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள் நடத்தப்படுகின்றன. மேலும் சிறப்பு வகுப்புகள் மாணவர்களுக்கு ‘வீடியோ கான்பரன்ஸ்’ மூலம் கற்பிக்கப்படுகின்றன. தொடர்ந்து ஆங்கில மொழிப்பயிற்சி, கணினி வகுப்புகள், சாரதாம்மா பாலமந்திர் வகுப்புகளும் நடத்தப்படுகின்றன.
(2)சோமதேவன்பட்டு கிராமத்திலுள்ள மாணவர்கள் பள்ளிக்கு சென்று வர போக்குவரத்து வாகன வசதி செய்துள்ளனர். மேலும் சைக்கிள்களும், வழங்கப்பட்டன.
(3)ஆசிரியர் பற்றாக் குறையால் மெய்யூர் மற்றும் வெம்பேடு பள்ளியில் ஆசிரியர் நியமனம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன.
(4)நமது மடத்தின் உதவித்தொகைமூலம் 3 பிசியோதெரபி, 4லேப் டெக்னீசியன் மற்றும், 1 பார்மசிஸ்ட், 1 பிஎட், 3 கலைக்கல்லாரி, 1 பொறியியல் மாணவ மாணவிகள் பயின்று வருகின்றனர்.
சாரதாம்மா கிராம மங்களம் – மகளிர் மேம்பாட்டு மையம்:-
(1)‘பெண்கள் முன்னேற்றமே குடும்பம் முன்னேற்றம்’ என்ற அடிப்படையில் ஸ்ரீராமகிருஷ்ண மடம் நவம்பர் 2014-ல் ‘சாரதாம்மா கிராம மங்களம்’ என்ற தையற் மையத்தை ஆரம்பித்தது.
(2)இதில் 200ர்க்கும் மேற்பட்ட கிராமப்பற பெண்கள் மற்றும் விதவைகளின் வருமானம் அதிகரித்துள்ளது. மேலும் 70 இலவச தையல் மிஷின்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
சமுதாய நல மையம் - BPCL
சமுதாய நல மையம், BPCL உதவியுடன் 11- செப்டம்பர் 2016ல் துவங்கப்பட்டது.
(1)BPCL முன்னாள் சேர்மன் திரு. வரதராஜன் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீமத் கெளதமானந்தஜீ மஹராஜ் அவர்களால் துவக்கி வைக்கப்பட்டது.
(2)இந்த கட்டித்தில் மருத்துவம் மற்றும் கிராமப்புற சேவைகள் நடைப்பெற்று வருகிறது.
(3)அதுமட்டுமல்லாமல் கிராமத்தை மேம்படுத்தும் வகையில் 6 கழிப்பறைகள், எல்.இ.டி. மின்விளக்குகள் மற்றும் குளங்கள் தூர்வாரும் பணிகள் நடைப்பெற்றன.
விவேகானந்தர் ஒருங்கிணைந்த கிராமப்புற மேம்பாட்டு மையம்-
சாரதாம்மா பசு ஆலயம்:-
(1)சேவைகளை விரிவாக்கம் செய்யும் நோக்கத்தில் இயற்க்கை விவசாயத்தை ஊக்குவித்து ஒரு எடுத்துக்காட்டாக நம் மடம் திகழ்கிறது.
(2)அது மட்டுமல்லாமல் 84 பசுகள் மற்றும் கன்றகள் நல்ல முறையில் பராமரிக்கப்பட்டு அதன் பாலை இங்கு வரும் மாணவர்களுக்கு பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.
கடந்த 16ந் – தேதி நவம்பர் 2022 அன்று தவத்திரு. சுவாமிஜியினால் அடிக்கல் நாட்டபட்டு இன்று திறப்பு விழா செய்யப்பட்டுள்ள இந்த இரண்டு புதிய கட்டிடத்திற்கு நிதி உதவி செய்த HPCL குழுமத்திற்கும், வசந்த் சந்திர சேகரம் மற்றும் மோகனகிருஷ்ணன் அவர்களுக்கும் எங்களது நெஞ்சார்ந்த நன்றியை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்.
சுவாமிஜியின் இந்தப்பணி தொண்டு மனப்பான்மை உடைய, கருனை உள்ளம் கொண்ட பலருடைய உதவியினால் தொடர்ந்து சிறப்பாக நடைபெறும் என்று நம்புகிறோம்.
ஏழ்மையுலும், வாய்ப்புகள் இல்லாத பிண்ணனியில் இருந்த எங்கள் மெய்யூர் கிராமம் அன்னை சாரதையின் அருள் பார்வை பெற்று இன்று கல்வி மற்றும் பெண்கள் முன்னேற்றத்தில் சிறந்து விளங்கி மற்ற கிராம மக்களுக்கு ஒரு எடுத்துகாட்டாக திகழ்கிறோம் என்பதில் பெருமை கொள்கிறோம்.
