On Sunday, November 19, 2023, the Valedictory session for the 32nd batch (Weekend) of Thanjavur Painting Course was held. Participants reported their varied experiences studying this ancient art form in the Holy Ambience of Vivekananda Cultural Centre. After being moved with devotion by the sight of so many pictures of Lord Muruga placed in one place, one participant sang a few lines in praise of Lord Muruga.

In his benediction, our Director Swamiji expressed gratitude for the various accolades bestowed upon both the Drawing & Painting course instructors, and wished that they would be translated into action by informing their friends and family about the vocational quick-job oriented programmes being conducted for underprivileged students (Tally-GST & Graphic Design) & Value Education programme for school and college students-both of which are free of charge.

As this traditional art-form requires a greater degree of maturity level and depth of understanding and a lot of patience, any interested and enthusiastic student from 18 to 60 years can join this course! For more details, click rkmvcc.org
