On Sunday 19th May, 2024, Thanjavur Painting Level-2 Batch-2 Valedictory session for 10 participants was held. Course Instructor Krishnaveni Madam, and all the participants shared their challenges in taking this 16th century to the next level.
This time the picture completed was of Madurai Meenakshi Amman. The size of the picture was also bigger than what is usually learnt in Level-1, with more accessories and a different warped frame model.
In his benediction, Director Swamiji, emphasized the need to develop a devotional attitude for creating a living picture that can be worshipped regularly at home.
