On Feb 3rd, 2023 (Friday), the Thanjavur Painting Valedictory session for 11 participants of weekday batch was held. Course Instructor Krishnaveni Madam and all the participants shared their journey of devotion with learning in completing this 9th-century vanishing art form. This time the picture completed was of Goddess Dhanalakshmi.
In his benediction, Director Swamiji emphasized the need to develop a nuanced devotional attitude for creating a living picture that can be worshipped regularly at homes. This traditional art form requires a greater maturity level. Any interested student from 18 to 60 years can join this course!
