Valedictory Function of the 26th (Weekend)  & 27th (Weekdays) Batches of Thanjavur Painting Course was held on Sunday, 18th September 2022.

Nineteen participants in Weekend batch and nine participants in Weekdays batch, actively learned this ancient and traditional vanishing art form of South Indian culture which showcases the regional affluence of the past, patronized by the kings over the centuries.

Swami Raghunayakananda ji, Director of VCC, in his benedictory address, appealed to all to keep in touch with the art by constant practice and with Vivekananda Cultural Centre and the larger Ramakrishna movement by volunteering in the various activities and programs being conducted for small kids and elders also.
