Vivekananda Samskrita course Inaugural program. Welcoming the new Students and congratulating the Students who completed their Level1&2.
The “Vivekananda Samskrita Adhyayana Sarani” was started in collaboration with Samskrita Bharati as part of 150th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Swami Vivekananda. This course is offered in 3 levels, each for 6 months period.
Since 2013 in 11 batches, till now 2,103 Samskrit lovers have participated in this program and have successfully completed their course and today Thirteenth batch of Level-1 & Level-2 has done well. Level 3 is going to start with this batch.
Due to the Pendamic Covid 19, for two years this course was discontinued. Now under the unit “Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence” (VIHE Chennai) the Vivekananda Samskrit course has started afresh once again for the Samskrit loving audience in the Math campus.
With Pranam Mantra’s & Arati to Holy trio program began. Brahmachari Vanishachaitanya Maharaj Welcomed everyone, especially newly joined students. He motivated by quoting here, students are treated as children who just began to speak, and are taught in the same way, and reverence to the Samskrit language. Quoting Swami Vivekananda's love and respect for the Sanskrit Language, Maharaj encouraged to speak, read, and write ; everything in Samskritam from now onwards to all the gathering.
Experiences were Expressed by the students during the course by two Students, from each level. Short but impressive in simple Sanskritam.
Sri Giridhar, Acharya of on going batches, Samskrit Bharati, delivered an excellent motivational speech to all Samskrit lovers- newcomers. Added a short story to encourage the students about the importance of learning in the Ramakrishna Math campus, and to bring known family & friends for learning Samskritam.
Swami Suprajnanandaji Maharaj delivered a benediction address. Love the Samskrit Language and the culture. Quoting Swami Vivekananda, Maharaj said, Sanskrit and prestige go together, Even knowing little Samskrit or speaking a little in Samskritam brings us joy, contentment, and prestige among the people. Also mentioned how important is the language, and go back to study our heritage, Science, Spiritual truths etc.. It was very motivational.
Certificates and books were gifted to the course-completed students and Teachers were honored by the Monks on stage.
With a vote of thanks, Shanti Mantram and, instruction to students, the program concluded.
Prasadam was offered to all (nearly 55), the gathering.
