Food Awareness Workshop – Kids Yoga Batch
An insightful Food Awareness Workshop was organized for the Kids Yoga Batch at Vivekananda Cultural Center on 20 December 2025, held at Ramakrishnananda Hall. The session was thoughtfully conducted by Dr. Anandi, Ayurvedic Doctor, and saw the enthusiastic participation of 26 kids and 20 parents.
The workshop introduced participants to the Ayurvedic understanding of food and digestion, highlighting how different foods influence the body and overall well-being. Dr. Anandi explained the body’s natural responses to various food habits in a simple, relatable manner suitable for both kids and adults.
Participants were also guided to understand their body constitution (Prakriti) and the typical health tendencies linked to each type. Practical, easy-to-follow lifestyle and dietary tips were shared to help prevent common health issues and promote long-term wellness.
The session wrapped up with an engaging interactive Q&A, allowing participants to clarify doubts, followed by a vote of thanks and a group photograph, marking a meaningful and enriching learning experience for all.
Food Awareness Workshop for VCC Yoga Participants – Home Makers Batch
A Food Awareness Workshop for the VCC Yoga participants (Home Makers Batch) was successfully conducted on 16 December 2025 at Ramakrishnananda Hall, Vivekananda Cultural Center. The session was led by Dr. Anandi, Ayurvedic Doctor, with 15 participants actively taking part.
During the workshop, Dr. Anandi explained the Ayurvedic perspective on food, digestion, and health. She highlighted how emotions influence digestion and elaborated on how diseases occur according to Ayurveda. Special emphasis was given to understanding and controlling Vayu (Vata) for maintaining overall well-being.
The participants were guided through simple methods to identify their body constitution (Prakriti) and the common health issues associated with each type. Dr. Anandi also shared practical and easy solutions that can be incorporated into daily life to prevent diseases or reduce their occurrence.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, followed by a vote of thanks and a group photograph.
