The 190th Birthday Tithipuja of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna will be celebrated as usual with Special Puja and Homa at the Math on Saturday, 01 March 2025.

The fourth day of Vivekananda Navaratri 2025 was a vibrant celebration of Swami Vivekananda's legacy. The day began with soulful bhajans performed by students from Vivekananda College, setting a serene and spiritual tone for the events to follow.

The highlight of the day was a mesmerizing stage play presented by Sri Annai Creations, titled ‘Sangeeta Pitamaha Sri Purandaradasa’. The play beautifully depicted the life and contributions of Purandaradasa, the legendary composer and saint who is revered as the father of Carnatic music.

Vivekananda Cultural Centre and Dessin Academy, Chennai, have jointly organized a Drawing-Painting Competition for students, with the theme "Swami Vivekananda's Life Journey."

The National Youth Day Marathon 2025 is held today at Vivekananda House in Chennai. This event is held to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, celebrated as National Youth Day in India.

Sri Ramakrishna Vijayam, a Tamil monthly magazine of Sri Ramakrishna Math, has been celebrating the ‘National Youth Day Competition’ for many years on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birthday on 12th January.

The program began with flower offering to the Holy Trio and lamp lighting by dignitaries, faculties and students. The program included two sessions presented by Smt. Varsha Sundararajan, Certificates where distributed.
