- Om Ganeshaya Namah (Sculpt Your Favourite Deity), the first batch of this workshop was successfully launched at Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) on Sat-24th August 2024, with 32 participants ranging from 8 to 78 years. We had planned for only 25 seats, however 60+ enrolled, as a consequence we have planned another batch next week!
- The workshop started with prayers at Sister Nivedita Auditorium. The Instructors gave very clear verbal instructions and step-by-step demo to each of the participants.
- In the end, each of the hand-made Ganesha was offered flowers followed by Arathi. After taking 'Sundal' prasad each participant carried their Ganeshas–made with with much love and devotion – to their homes!
- 'Life & Art Academy' of Chennai collaborated with VCC to make this event successfully and we specially appreciate their noble gesture for this cultural program to reach a wider audience.
