Date: 15th, 16th, 22nd & 23rd November 2025 (KMP03)
The Kerala Mural Painting Workshop at Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Chennai, drew an enthusiastic group of participants who came together to explore and learn this traditional art form. The sessions were led by the skilled Kerala Mural artist Smt. Prasuna Jayanthi, with dedicated support from Smt. Krishnaveni. Conducted in the serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere of Ramakrishnananda Hall, the workshop provided an ideal setting for focused learning.
A total of 31 participants registered for this batch, and each one displayed sincere involvement and artistic commitment. All the participants took part in every session wholeheartedly and completed their respective paintings on time with utmost interest, dedication, and patience. The chosen theme for this batch was “Maha Lakshmi.”
During the valedictory ceremony, the Course Instructor expressed her appreciation for the participants’ efforts and dedication. Director–VCC Maharaj addressed the gathering with insightful thoughts on the spiritual benefits of art, thanked everyone for their wholehearted participation, and warmly invited them to future VCC programs.
Participants shared heartfelt feedback and gratitude for the enriching experience. Certificates were presented to all attendees, followed by a cheerful group photo session. Tea, snacks, and lunch prasad were served to the participants on all four days, adding warmth and hospitality to the workshop environment.

The Kerala Mural Painting Workshop happened for the first time in Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Chennai, with overwhelming response by the participants. The course instructor Smt.Prasuna Jayanthi who is well versed in Kerala Mural Painting art, and 
Smt.Krishnaveni Volunteered for this workshop. In the holy ambience of Ramakrishnananda Hall at Vivekananda Cultural Centre this workshop was held. No of registered participants were 15. Every mural is a testament to the depth of dedication the artists have to their art. The temples and palaces of Kerala are all a visual treat wherein the sagas of ancient Hindu Gods and Goddesses unfold and this art adds richness to it.
The theme of this workshop is Lord Krishna- “Yashodha Krishna”. During the Valedictory session, Course Instructor shared her joy with this batch, Director-VCC Maharaj shared wonderful unknown facts of painting with spiritual benefits and also thanked everyone for making this workshop successful and invited all the participants for the future events.
The Participants shared their gratitude, opinions and feedback, which was an overwhelming response. Certificates were distributed to all the participants. And program concluded with Group Photo session. Tea, snacks and lunch Prasad were distributed to all the participants.

The Kerala Mural Painting Workshop happened for the first time in Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Chennai, with overwhelming response by the participants. The course instructor Smt. During the Valedictory session, Course Instructor shared her joy with this batch, Swami Ishapremananda ji Maharaj shared wonderful unknown facts of painting with spiritual benefits, Director-VCC Maharaj thanked everyone for making this workshop successful and invited all the participants for the future events.
