1. Our Balamandir Summer Camp students performed Mata-Pita Puja on Sunday, 10th May, 2026.
2. Nearly 32 students and 75 parents (male and female) attended the programme. They were guided in every step by our teachers and volunteers.
3. One of the teachers guided the students through the Puja, which involved offering flowers, Chandan, and Kumkum at the feet of their parents. Then they offered sweet and water.
4. It was followed by the taking up of 20 pledges by the students in front of their parents.
5. After that, parents blessed their children and fed them sweets and water.
6. Swami Dharmisthananda Mj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home, gave the benedictory address in which he spoke about the importance of our culture, disciplines, truthfulness, obedience, etc.
7. Swami Apavargananda Mj, Editor of the Ramakrishna Vijayam, talked about the role and responsibilities of parents, and insisted upon the duty of students in moulding their future properly by utilising the opportunities.
8. After that, children took their parents to the Main Temple to offer their prayers.
9. Parents were very delighted to witness such a programme. They expressed their gratitude to the Math authorities.
10. The programme ended with the distribution of Prasadam to all the students and parents.
