MGR School Program (Photos)

Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, conducted a One-Day Talent Show programme for the students of Dr MGR Home and Higher Secondary School for the Speech and Hearing Impaired, Ramapuram, Chennai, on 20th November, Thursday.
The programme started at 9.00 a.m. and was concluded at 12.30 p.m. A variety of cultural programmes took place.
Many students exhibited their talents in different fields as follows: Drawing 23, English Essay writing 11, Tamil Essay writing 9, Group Dance
6, Rangoli 10, Yoga 13, Gymnastics 17, Mime 1, and Tamil Speech 1.
35 Teachers came with the students, and 14 Intern Students also accompanied them. Nearly 175 students were present.
Srimat Swami Dharmatmanandaji Maharaj blessed the children with a few  words, and Srimat Swami Dharmishthanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, RKM Students’ Home, gave the keynote address. Swami Satyaprabhananda also gave a small talk.
Those students who exhibited their talents were given Participation Certificates along with a gift of a book.
From The Clarke School, Mylapore, Chennai, 18 students and 3 teachers came and witnessed the programmes. They were given some books as a gift.
9 volunteers gave their wonderful service to make the event successful.
At the end, all were given lunch Prasad. Nearly 210 people (students and teachers, & volunteers) took the Prasad.
