Mindful art workshop (Second batch) was conducted in the Ramakrishnananda Hall at Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) campus on 27th and 28th July 2024. The workshop was inaugurated with prayer and flower offering to the Holy Trio and lamp lighting by Br. Vanisha Chaitanya ji Maharaj, Director of VCC followed by the workshop instructors, Sri Solai Kannu and Smt Valli Solai.
Day 1: Varied art forms, namely Free-hand drawing, Mala Grathana (stringing garland with original flowers), Pot painting, and Stone work on Canvas board were conducted.
Day 2: Ceramic plate painting, Mandala, and Zentangle were conducted.
The participants relished Satvic Prasadam on both the days of the workshop.
The valedictory ceremony was held on the second half of Day 2 with feedback sharing by the participants and the instructors. The concluding remarks were presented by Br. Vanishachaitanya ji Maharaj, who emphasized the importance of art forms, its significance and impact in our day to day life. The program was then followed by the presentation of a momento to the workshop instructors as a token of gratitude for their service.
