As part of the ongoing Navaratri festivities, Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, organized a Kumkum Archana at its Rural Development Centre in Meyyur on 27th September, Saturday. The entire village was invited to join the celebrations, which were conducted in a spirit of devotion and joy.
A total of 293 villagers participated in the programme, including 210 lady devotees who took part in the Kumkum Archana. In addition, 15 men, 20 boys, and 48 girls joined the gathering, making it a truly community-wide celebration.
On this occasion, Swami Apavargananda delivered an inspiring talk on Mother Durga, highlighting Her divine qualities and relevance to our daily lives. The programme was further graced by the presence of Swamis Paravidyananda, Ambananda, Viswarajanananda, and Japayajnananda, who actively took part in the function.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of prasadam to all devotees, leaving everyone spiritually uplifted and united in the joy of Navaratri.
