As part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Sri Ramakrishna Temple, Chennai Math organized a grand Ratha Yatra on April 10th, 2025 held in conjunction with the traditional 63 Nayanmars Festival at the renowned Kapaleeswarar Temple.
A beautifully decorated chariot carrying the sacred photographs of the Holy Trio — Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda — was reverentially taken around the streets of Mylapore. The procession was a sight to behold, drawing thousands of devotees who gathered with devotion and enthusiasm to witness the unique celebration. A group of fifty students from the Ramakrishna Mission Students Home rendered the traditional Kailaya Vadhiyam in veneration of Kapaleeshwarar Shiva. Buttermilk was distributed to pilgrims on April 9th & 10th.
