On Tuesday–27th April, 2024, Valedictory session was conducted for 13 participants of the 35th batch ((Weekend) of Thanjavur Painting Course. Happy participants shared their learnings of how they overcame their initial hesitation and fears to draw and paint this ancient art-form in the Holy Ambience of Vivekananda Cultural Centre. The participants complimented both the drawing and art teachers on their patient teaching style.

In his benediction, our Director Swamiji thanked each one of the participants and their relatives for choosing Vivekananda Cultural Centre to practice this contemplative and tranquil art form. He also asked them to introduce their children to the institution's many programmes, such as Traditional Summer Camp.

As this 16th century traditional art-form requires a greater degree of maturity level and depth of understanding and lots of patience and minute skills, any enthusiastic student from 18 to 60 years can join this course! For more details, click rkmvcc.org
