Thanjavur Painting 28th Batch (Weekend)

On 17th Dec, the orientation session for 12 participants of the Thanjavur Painting weekend (Sat-Sun) batch commenced with the traditional lighting of lamp in presence of Swami Raghunayakananda, Director of our Centre. 
Smt. Krishnaveni Course Instructor-presented an overview of this 1200-year-old (9th Century) Traditional Art program, which will run for 40+ sessions and includes sketching, preparing board, clay art, setting of beads, painting and finally framing in a glass enclosure. any one of God’s pictures.
As this type of traditional art form requires a degree of maturity, admissions are open to any interested student from 18 to 60 years!
