Swami Vimokshananda, the Adhyaksha of Yelagiri Math, took the stage to deliver a thought-provoking talk in Tamil on 'How to Love our Nation?' With profound insights, Swami Vimokshananda inspired the audience to reflect on their role in nurturing love for the nation, emphasizing the principles of service, unity, and compassion.
Following this, 'Kalaimamani' Tiruppur Krishnan, the esteemed editor of Amudhasurabi Magazine, shared his wisdom in a talk titled 'Gurudevar and His Gospel' in Tamil. Drawing from his deep understanding of Swami Vivekananda's teachings, Tiruppur Krishnan provided a nuanced perspective on the relevance of the Guru's words in contemporary times.
The cultural festivities reached a crescendo with the staging of the play '1893,' a poignant portrayal of Swami Vivekananda's historic journey to the World's Parliament of Religions in Chicago. Directed by the talented Sri Vivekshankar, the stage play, presented by Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, unfolded the transformative moments of Swami Vivekananda's life, capturing the essence of his message and mission.
