The XR Winter Camp 2025 was successfully conducted at the Vivekananda Cultural Centre Computer Lab from 25 to 31 December 2025, offering a unique blend of technology and Indian cultural learning. The six-day programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 25 students, making it an engaging and enriching experience.
The workshop was led by Mr. Senthil Kumar, Director, E16 AI XR, who introduced students to the fascinating world of Extended Reality (XR) through hands-on sessions. The participants actively explored Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), XR blocks coding, and STEM-based experiences, gaining practical exposure to emerging technologies.
A special highlight of the camp was the visit to the Experience Vivekananda Museum, where students experienced VR, AR, and 3D movies as part of an immersive, hands-on learning journey. This visit helped students connect technology with the life and ideals of Swami Vivekananda, making learning both meaningful and memorable.
The programme concluded on 31 December 2025 with a valedictory function, during which several students shared their positive feedback. They expressed excitement about the sessions and a strong interest in attending more such workshops in the future. On this occasion, Director Maharaj addressed the students, encouraging them to continuously practice and apply these technological skills, emphasizing their relevance and usefulness for future learning and career paths.
The camp concluded with the distribution of participation certificates and a group photograph, marking the successful completion of a thoughtfully designed programme that truly reflected the spirit of “Tech Meets Tradition.”
