A combined valedictory function was held on August 11, 2024, to mark the successful completion of the Yoga Men (Weekdays) and Yoga Women (Weekends) batches. The event saw the participation of nearly 30 members, who had diligently attended the courses.
The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by prayers, setting a serene tone for the occasion. The course instructors shared their valuable experiences and insights gained while teaching the batch, which was followed by testimonials from the students themselves individually.
The highlight of the event was an enlightening discourse by Swami Ishapremananda Maharaj, in-charge Vivekananda House, who spoke at length about the multifaceted benefits of Yoga, highlighting its various aspects and importance in daily life.
Br. Vanishachaitanya, VCC In-Charge, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the need to spread awareness about the Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC), workshops and its courses, etc., which would enable a larger number of beneficiaries to avail of its services.
The students were honored with certificates of completion, and the instructors were felicitated for their dedication and hard work. The program culminated with a group photo session, marking the end of a memorable journey for the participants.
This combined valedictory function was a testament to the success of the Yoga batches and the positive impact it had on the lives of the participants.
