*Remarks:

The College authorities gave us their full support and the Dept. of History took up the organization of the exhibition. The space provided was very good and near to perfect for an exhibition of this kind. The student volunteers were extremely disciplined, humble and focused on making the event successful. The HoD and other professors of the Dept. of History were a constant source of strength and support throughout the exhibition.

*Remarks by the Teachers/ Institution:

Thanked us very much for organizing such an exhibition. It was an unique experience for them. They also plan to put up a LED display board showing Swamiji’s quotes and messages.

*Brief report: We collaborated with the Dept. of History of Ethiraj College for organizing the pictorial and book exhibition. It was conducted for 3 days in the college library. Students were shown short films, pictures and presentations on Swami Vivekananda's life and teachings. They also purchased books eagerly. Around 3000 students visited the exhibition and they became highly interested in Swami Vivekananda's life and teachings. Swami Apavargananda of our Chennai Math graced the exhibition on the last day with his holy presence and gave a motivational talk to the students. The students asked a number of questions to Him on various topics related to student life, concentration, etc. The 3 day exhibition was a grand success largely due to the work of the VYF volunteers and the teachers of the college.
