On 11th June Ramakrishna Math Chennai distributed 200 grocery kits each worth ₹700 for barbers (hairdressers) from Triplicane area affected due to Covid 2.0 lockdown.

 

On 7th June 2021 Ramakrishna Math Chennai in association with AAM (Arutperum Jyoti Annadhanam Mission Villivakkam) Members distribute 300 lunch packets from Villivakkam to Koyembadu for homeless people.

On 3rd June 2021 Poor Children of Ramakrishna Math National School and Housekeeping Aayas (school) were distributed 160 Grocery Kits of value ₹700 each

Poor Children of Ramakrishna Math Vivekananda Centenary Girls School and Housekeeping Aayas (school) were also distributed 160 Grocery Kits of value ₹700 each

 

On 3rd June 2021 Chennai Math distributes 45 Grocery Kits of value ₹700 among needy fishermen families of Pattinapakkam

On 2nd June 2021 Ramakrishna Math Chennai distributes 150 Grocery Kits worth Rs.750 each in Ennor, Kattivakam area for Visually impaired people, barbers, transgender, rickshaw pullers, priests, housemaids.

 

On 2nd June 2021 Ramakrishna Math Chennai and Vivekananda House distributed grocery kits worth ₹700 to 250 marginalized families of Nadukuppam, Chennai. The relief was led by Swami Shashishikhanandaji.

 

On 1st June 2021 Ramakrishna Math Chennai distributed grocery kits worth ₹750 to 150 marginalized families of Ayodhyanagar at Vivekananda House. The relief was led by Swami Shashishikhanandaji.

 

Ramakrishna Math Chennai and Vivekananda House provided Covid 2.0 relief for Frontline police workers by providing essential groceries worth Rs. 700

 

On 26th May 2021 Vivekananda House – a sub-center of Ramakrishna Math Chennai conducted Covid 2.0 relief for 300 marginalized people with essential grocery kits around Ayodhyakuppam area around 11 AM. The relief was conducted with proper Covid safety measures along with permission from Police. The relief was blessed by Srimat Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj and initiated by Swami Dharmishthanandaji Maharaj. At Vivekananda House, the relief was led by Swamis Ishapremanandaji, Surarchitananda, Sarvabhadrananda & Panchavaktrananda assisted by volunteers Ramakrishnan and Tanigaivel. The future plan is to take additional survey and expand to other nearby areas of need.
