In a vibrant celebration of spirituality and cultural enlightenment, the students of SRKM Vivekananda Centenary Girls’ Hr. Sec. School in Mint, Chennai, recently showcased their devotion through soul-stirring bhajans. The event was marked by enlightening talks and performances that paid homage to the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

Swami Sarvarupananda, a revered Senior Monk from the Varanasi Ashrama, took the podium to deliver a profound talk in Tamil on 'Swami Vivekananda’s Religion of Love.' With eloquence and wisdom, Swami Sarvarupananda unraveled the timeless teachings of Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing the universal message of love and compassion that transcends religious boundaries.

Following this enlightening discourse, the audience was treated to a special talk titled 'Swami Vivekananda as I understood,' presented in Tamil by the distinguished 'Kalaimamani' Sri Lena Tamizhvanan. A renowned writer and editor associated with Manimekalai Prasuram, Sri Lena Tamizhvanan shared personal insights into Swami Vivekananda's profound impact on his life and perspective. His reflections offered a unique and personal dimension to the understanding of Swami Vivekananda's teachings.

The cultural journey continued with a captivating Harikatha performance by Smt Suchitra Balasubramaiam, centered around 'Swami Vivekananda.' Through her eloquent storytelling in Tamil, Smt Suchitra Balasubramaiam transported the audience into the realms of Swami Vivekananda's life, unfolding the narrative with a perfect blend of devotion and artistry.
